(Don't worry, these will be easy to follow)
ODYSEA.US.TO is a vibrant community and a safe place for people to explore and be a part of. Or at least, that's what we expect it to be. So, to make sure this vision of a livable community for people of all ages, genders, personalities, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds is the reality, we compiled a list of rules for just this purpose! (And so you don't get the mighty bulky ban hammer of justice ;)
The rules
- Be respectful of others and their opinions at all times.
- Do NOT use gender or culture to harass or humiliate any member of the community.
- The recommended minimum age for visiting the community sections of the site is 10+. If you're under 10, please have a parent or older sibling with you while exploring the community.
- Since this is a website meant for a general public, swear word tolerance is limited. While any moderate-to-strong examples of these words are for most cases not allowed, substitutes like "frick" or properly censored swear words are perfectly fine. Putting swear words in your username will most likely sooner or later get your account banned PERMANENTLY. Watch your mouth!
- NSFW and sexual content (or links to it) are NEVER allowed on the platform, like, ever. User-uploaded content such as comments or game levels linking to or containing any form of pornography or other adult content WILL absolutely get banned, along with the responsible user's account.
- Do not bribe, maliciously impersonate, or attempt to scam other users. Attempting any of these will get your account moderated or banned, depending on the situation's gravity.
- Spamming or self-advertising in the comments section of any uploaded content is discouraged.
- Whatever you do, don't say "asdfwowo", please don't ;D
TL;DR: Rules for interacting with other people in this platform in any way are mostly just the usual yada-yada. Be nice, be respectful, try not to make people angry, sad, or anything that makes them feel bad, don't post pictures of donkeys in underwear, and don't be that creepy guy from a beaten up van claiming to be giving away free candy. Since these are all just basic principles of peaceful human interaction, it's not really a good idea to ignore them, don't you think?
Breaking these rules may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans to your account, depending on the severity of the offense.
