ODYSEA.us.to's privacy policy is straightforward. We don't deal your data with advertisers, and we only collect what's necessary for the site to function for you and for others. However, if you want to go into details:
That's it. That's the only thing we collect. In fact, it's encrypted server-side, so no one (not even us!) can look at the real address; just a hash of it. We don’t collect your real name, location, browser fingerprint, or any other data that can be linked back to you easily. Since we can't read the real address anyway, we can't (and will NOT even if we ever get the chance to) use it to track you, guess your location, or use IP lookup tools or APIs.
The only reason we collect your IP address is for moderation purposes (a.k.a. to help protect the platform from abuse and spam).
There are some pesky ban-evading people and bots out there.
We may connect your account's information and/or interactions (e.g. site comments) to third-party services to provide you with certain features and enhancements, but only with YOUR consent. Nothing will ever be sent anywhere without your explicit permission. We try to choose external APIs that closely align to our privacy morals.
As I mentioned earlier, nothing (your levels, your comments, your profile, etc.) ever leaves our servers unless you specifically want it to. We do not and WILL NOT feed the content you share on this site to generative AI models for training nor third parties for advertising or profile building. However, *we* may occasionally use your published levels to promote the game or showcase our community, but we will always make sure to give credit for your work.
We only keep your data for as long as your account exists. Once you delete it, absolutely everything about it is completely wiped from our servers with no way for us to recover it, except for your uploaded levels and comments, which will remain on the platform and will continue to be accessible for everyone, unless you delete them beforehand or contact us via email.
Take care, and have fun!
